about

In many occasions the music of Johann Sebastian Bach was dragged into the twentieth and twenty-first century.
To stay in the jazz, the examples are countless: from John Lewis and his Modern Jazz Quartet, the Bach trio of Jacques Loussier, Armando Trovajoli, up to to the Classical Jazz Quartet; and we could continue with Django Rheinhardt, Stephane Grappelli, Jaco Pastorius, and the Brandenburg Concertos performed by the Benny Golson's New York Orchestra.
However, the journey that this album means to document is exactly the opposite.
With an impossible anachronism: perhaps this is the first album of the early eighteenth century in which you may hear a Fender Rhodes.
